Funding Opportunities
There are many ways to support Garth Fagan Dance including monetary gifts, in-kind support, sponsorship, events and program advertising.
Outright Gifts
When you make a gift to Garth Fagan Dance, your contribution will be put to work immediately. An outright gift may be of any value and may be make on-line at www.garthfagandance.org/donate or calling 585-454-3260 using a credit card or with cash, check or money order made payable to Garth Fagan Dance and sent to 50 Chestnut Street, Rochester, NY 14604.
Gifts of appreciated securities, stocks, and bonds also provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to Garth Fagan Dance when sold. If you have held you securities for more than one year, you may find that your gift will provide a twofold tax benefit, creating an income-tax deduction as well as helping avoid the capital-gains tax that would b have been due on their sale. Gifts in Honor or Memory
Honor a special individual or the memory of someone who has passed away. Let us know who the gift is in honor or memory of and whom you’d like us to notify. We will send a note letting me know of your generous support.
Matching-Gift Programs
Ask your employer about your company’s matching-gift program. Such programs typically match all or a percentage of employee contributions to charitable organizations. Simply obtain a matching-gift form from your employer’s personnel office, fill it out and provide it to Garth Fagan Dance with your contribution.
Planned Gifts
Remember Garth Fagan Dance in your will. Bequests ensure the financial stability of the Company over time. Or designate Garth Fagan Dance as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. The approve language for making a bequest is “I hereby give and bequeath the sum of $______ to Garth Fagan Dance Inc., 50 Chestnut Street, Rochester, NY 14604.
Gift Pledges
Garth Fagan Dance welcomes your gift through a pledge – a formal statement of intention to make a gift. With a pledge, you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time.
All gifts are eligible for an income-tax charitable donation.

Production Specifications:
Trim size: 5.5 x 8.5 inches. Bleed size is 5.75 x 8.75 inches. “Live (safe) area is 4.625 x 7.5 inches.
Ad deadlines are 3 weeks prior to publication.
All program books are produced in Macintosh equipment in QuarkXPress. Ads are accepted in Acrobat (press or print-Ready) PDF format, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, and Photoshop. Ads must be created in exact ad size. When submitting ads digitally be sure all images, logos and fonts used in the file are included. All vector eps files should have type converted to paths. All photos need to be scanned at 300 dpi, all line scans must be at least 800 dpi resolution, 4-color images must be saved as CMYK tiff files. Always provide a hard copy of what the ad should look like. Every attempt will be made to reproduce your ad as supplied, however if a file is problematic, we reserve the right to edit the file as needed for use in the books.
