The Summer Movement Institute provides an opportunity for students aged 10 and up to become fully exposed to the Garth Fagan Dance philosophy and Fagan Technique. This intensive program will provide a variety of classes in Technique, Composition, Repertory and Art Appreciation, taught by Garth Fagan Dance company members. Guest teachers will teach Music Appreciation and other dance-related topics. The Summer Movement Institute strives to enhance the student’s appreciation and understanding of dance through its relationship with art, theater and music.
